Nadia Nekooi PA-C, is a native of Dickinson TX. She is a compassionate individual with an uncanny ability to get to the bottom of what ails people. She completed her undergraduate at Texas A&M and her Physician Assistant training in New York City. While training in New York she discovered her passion for surgery and completed additional surgical training. Nadia was in New York when the tragic events of 9/11 took place and experienced those events first hand. She was able to work with the Red Cross and provide care to the emergency response teams. After additional training in New York, Nadia returned to Texas to work with Surgeon Dr. Beverly G. Lewis in Texas City for several years. She then then moved her scope of practice to internal medicine with Dr. Dorothy Merritt, her own primary care doctor since the age of 12. Five years ago Nadia was given the opportunity to “come home” to her Dickinson community at St. Elizabeth’s where she is a culturally-sensitive, busy primary care provider able to utilize all of her medical knowledge in the community she grew up in and holds close to heart.

Nadia is blessed to have both her parents who still reside here in Dickinson. She has many dear friends and family members locally that she enjoys spending her free time with. She has two four-legged children, Lily and Pinto. She is also a proud and involved aunt and godmother.
