At times, the key to effective weight loss lies in medical assistance, such as prescription medications or injectables. At St. Elizabeth Urgent Care, we provide safe and effective Semaglutide injections along with our in-depth weight loss programs to help our patients achieve their weight loss goals. In modern testing, this injectable treatment has shown promising results for individuals who have consistently struggled with weight loss. On top of administering Semaglutide injections, we also administer slim shot injections to add valuable Vitamin B-12 into your diet to support your weight loss journey. Our programs foundation is built on behavioral and lifestyle modification with a medical “jump start.” The program provides medical assistance in weight loss to help patients lose a significant amount of weight in an appropriate amount of time depending on the individual’s health. To ensure your weight loss journey is safe and effective, our medical assistants will monitor your progress based on your initial baselines, blood work, and urine tests.

Program requirements:
- BMI 27 or above with co-morbidities
- BMI 30 or above without co-morbidities
- Ages 18 +
Initial visit includes with medical assistant:
- Medical history review includes history of weight loss attempts.
- Body measurements (waist & hips)
- Blood work & urine tests (CMP, TSH, Lipids, Vit D, A1C, hormones, urine drug screen & urine pregnancy test)
- EKG
- B-12 or slim shot injection
Follow up visit with provider (1 week after initial visit)
- Discussion of results
- Options for weight loss medication – oral medication; or if you qualify for Semaglutide or Tirzepatide the first injection will be given during this visit.
- Plus, B-12 or slim shot injection
Current initial charge is $250 – includes initial visit, laboratory tests, B12 or slim shot injection and follow-up visit with provider.
Monthly follow-ups visit charge: If on Semaglutide $275; if on Tirzepatide $350, if on oral medication $125
Monthly visit includes consultation with provider, injection of medication (Semaglutide or Tirzepatide), b12 or slim shot injection and you will receive the medication to take home to administer yourself. You can choose to come into the clinic weekly to get medication injections. If you are on oral medication, the prescription will be sent to the pharmacy.
Additional labs may be required every 2-3 months depending on medical history. Charge for those labs will vary depending on how many are ordered. 1-3 lab tests will be $35; 4-6 lab tests will be $60.
Realistic Goals
Realistic weight loss is 15-30 pounds at 12 weeks, with an average loss of 20-25 pounds. Losing weight is a lifestyle change and this program is not a quick fix.
